The event will take place at the Kindergarten & Studio 123 Classes at Church of the King on the Little Creek Campus. There also will be book signing in the foyer between services.

“I am so excited to be reading this book to children on Palm Sunday,” Katz said. “I am truly thankful to the church family at Church of the King for allowing me to take part of this very special weekend.”

Church of the King’s Little Creek Campus is located at 22205 Little Creek Road in Mandeville.  Services are on Saturday at 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

• Oct. 11, 2012 – Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School –  Children enjoyed Jamie Katz reading her new book at their Stories and Slippers night.
• Sept. 28, 2012 – Calvary Baptist School – Jamie Katz read her book The Princess … The Pearls … & The Pekingese to children in grades K-6, and illustrator Dominick Blanda drew Lizzie, their favorite topic of conversation!
• Sept. 15, 2012 – Niche Modern Home – Owner Steve Macloud hosted a signing at Niche Modern Home, where children enjoyed cookies and lemonade and colored while their moms shopped and admired the lovely accessories in the store. 
• Sept. 12, 2012 – St. Michael’s Episcopal School – Jamie Katz read her book to a captive audience of children and signed copies at St. Michael’s Episcopal School in Mandeville.
• Aug. 5, 2012 –The Princess at Crossfire Church – Jamie Katz signed books at Crossfire Church in Slidell. The response was overwhelming. Special thanks to Pastors Rick and Sheila Noote and the wonderful congregation at Crossfire!
• July 15-18, 2012 – Christian Booksellers Association’s International Christian Retailers Show in Orlando, Fla.  The Princess … The Pearls … & The Pekingese is launched!  – The first public showing of the books, distributed nationally and internationally by Midpoint Trade Books, was a huge success!
